The Merry Crew have been busy recording and mixing a few songs in their new music studio (Kid-u-Not studios.) Crabby introduced the merry band to a new device the 'Curly Wurlitzer' it will add an 'extra little something' to our songs, he assured the gang. When asked to describe their style of music Rainbow and Pearl called it a mixture of Seaside Rock blended with Candyfloss Bubblegum and pop.
Crabby and Skipper have decided that rather than a doodle of the pixies it would be far better to capture a picture of them. Arguing that 2 girls had photographed a fluttering of fairies who had visiited their garden in Cottingley, surely Rainbow, Poet, Tellins could photograph a few pixies. Sir Arthur Conan Doyle (the creator of Sherlock Holmes) had seen the photos. Despite arguments that not many people had seen pixies because they have the magical power to make themselves invisible, Crabby insisted that he had a clever idea which could solve that little problem.
Star, Muscle, Sunset and Hoof were selected to investigate the tale of the smuggling parish clerk and the 'Great Storm.'
Pearl and the others were asked to find out who or what Nanny Cankerneedle was.
To help them on their way, Skipper and Crabby gave each of the adventurers the rules to a new game which they had created. With Crabby's words of; 'Should you encounter a dull moment along the way, this game will surely cheer you all up!' ringing in their ears the pals set off on their quests.
